welcome to my digital notebook and journal page!!!
while the rest of the site is rather polished (i hope!!!), this is where i will (attempt) to post General Life Updates, radio set planning, overwatch ranked coping, and whatever other unserious writing i feel like throwing out at 2am while i update my site :P
this is meant to be for uploads that feel a little less formal than a real blog. if you are looking for my Actual Concentrated Thoughts or long-form essays, you'll want to check out the newsletter tab. i will be honest.... i'm a part-time college student with too many hobbies... i will definitely be updating this notebook way more often than the essay page lol. hopefully i can #LockIn and do both!
you'll notice each entry in here usually has a specific track associated with it. i loaded all of those songs into the audio player over in the sidebar! definitely check those out while you read if you want the intended mood for each post :P

track 2 first entry!!! been working to redo my semi-abandoned site for the past few days and actually get it to a point that i like. i think i got caught up on the aesthetics of everything last time, and felt too locked into the template that i had originally chosen...
kind of a visual eyevomit tech-thing. which is not only 1) hard to look at but 2) played tf out... this kind of Cozy Weeb thing is pretty overdone too, but at least it looks a lot cleaner!
i have all kinds of stuff i really want to add and work on further, and getting this journal page up will be an excellent step... the plan is to just fill out each tab as appropriate and then archive each version of the website once the tabs are filled.
i think im going to try and orient this more around writing stuff and posting articles for myself, versus just "here is a website i made because i thought making a website would be cool Lol".
track 5 so maybe perhaps i didn't update my site for like 3 months. so what! we're so back now as i am feeling particularlly inspired to contribute to the digital world. my friends put me onto "ponytown", a platform that i was aware of previously but had no use for actually being on... but its very fun and has a very distinct web feel that made me want to get back to working on THIS site!
we recently did a karaoke birthday party for one of said friends, which led to discussion of Vocals and Bands and whatnot... which is of course something that probably wont happen, but wouldn't that be cool? i've been listening to a ton of 2nd wave emo recently and feeling very artistic... not that i've done anything with it yet, nor would i be able, but my friends are very talented and that inspires some hope!
one is very good at the whole music making thing already, another has shared some excellent poetry with us, and most of them can play some kind of instrument... really i'm the most Does Nothing guy of all time but perhaps something can be done about this...
i just overload myself with soooo much shit and its very difficult to keep track of sometimes... anyways! hopefully i will be able to continue updating my site, and that it won't take me another 3 months to post on here again. i just spent 4 hours locked in on coding the shit out of this thing, and i've got it mostly in a spot i'm happy with. i'm also pretty happy with my general site-creation abilities improving, be it through my ability to figure out how to implement code from other sites or write mine own!

track 3 yes i am writing another one of these. no i have not gone to bed. yes i have spent 10 hours STRAIGHT (10pm to 7:30am...!!!) working on this site. if i don't do it now, who knows when it will get done??
feeling particularly motivated... i think i have added just about damn near everything i can think of. i need to finish the set browser, of course, but thats going to take A LOT of time. no idea how to implement that. i have figured out how to do some Visually Impressive things on here but nothing legitimately that crazy. the fact i even got a music player to work in the first place is a miracle, not to mention any of the other shit i've thrown on here overnight.
now, for the main elements, that leaves the stuff that is VERY BROKEN that i don't feel like fixing right now. for instance, the music player on the guestbook randomly has a different font/color in the song marquee. is this definitely my fault? yes. i have been copy and pasting shit for hours. is it a Real issue? Not really. so i will probably not fix it for some time because we have BIGGER AND BETTER PLANS here.... sorry!!!!!
i would like to finish up adding everything i want to get done before i burn out on this again. i really should not still be as awake as i am at damn near 8am, but here we are!!!! we'll see how far we get. as a grand recap, everything i have gotten done tonight:
full site overhaul (aka i made a template), journal tabs FINALLY FIXED, the little terminal thing (SORRY if you hate it. I THINK ITS COOL!) and the button wall... i REALLY am excited to get the set browser done, since that's the main thing that would be COOL on here. anyways. going to bed now..
