welcome to my journal page! this is where i will (attempt) to post General Life Updates, set planning, and other unserious writing...
hopefully i will be able to #LockIn and post some more legitimate stuff on the writing page but who knows. this one will definitely be more regularly maintained...
each entry will have a paired song available in the playlist, so give it a listen if you're interested :) i recommend expanding the player to be about the same length as the notebook for best view!

- track 2 first entry!!! been working to redo my semi-abandoned site for the past few days and actually get it to a point that i like. i think i got caught up on the aesthetics of everything last time, and felt too locked into the template that i had originally chosen... kind of a visual eyevomit tech-thing. which is not only 1) hard to look at but 2) played tf out... this kind of Cozy Weeb thing is pretty overdone too, but at least it looks a lot cleaner!
i have all kinds of stuff i really want to add and work on further, and getting this journal page up will be an excellent step... the plan is to just fill out each tab as appropriate and then archive each version of the website once the tabs are filled. maybe a very very roundabout way of doing things, but it makes things easily searchable for me personally. and really im the main person who will be reading and checking here, so that makes the most sense to me at least for right now.
i think im going to try and orient this more around writing stuff and posting articles for myself, versus just "here is a website i made because i thought making a website would be cool Lol".
i can't help but want to add a bunch of shit here though. like yes i would like to add a changelog, yes i want to add a comment section, yes i want a chat... i guess i just want a lot of features that would be more useful on a site that actually gets Hella Traffic lol. but that is besides the point...
perhaps soon i will start making mixes again and posting them here. that would be cool. im kind of super lazy but i need a freakin hobby.
- track 5 so maybe perhaps i didn't update my site for like 3 months. so what! we're so back now as i am feeling particularlly inspired to contribute to the digital world. my friends put me onto "ponytown", a platform i was aware of but previously had absolutely no purpose in joining... but theyre all on there so now i do! my friends and i have been talking about doing a lot of Big Stuff recently which is why i am writing this, i guess. it's all very exciting!
we recently did a karaoke birthday party which led to discussion of Vocals and Bands and whatnot... which is of course something that probably wont happen, but wouldn't that be cool? i've been listening to a ton of 2nd wave emo recently and feeling very artistic... not that i've done anything with it. but hopefully, if we lock in, it could be something that happens for real... my friends are very talented!
one is very good at the whole music making thing already, another has shared some excellent poetry with us, and most of them can play some kind of instrument... really i'm the most Does Nothing guy of all time but perhaps something can be done about this... again, the whole website lock-in thing would be a great use of my time. i just overload myself with soooo much shit and its very difficult to keep track of sometimes... anyways! hopefully i will be able to continue updating my site. i would like to at least get the profile page set up, especially since i directly reference it on the opener of this journal... thus far, this and the guestbook are the only truly "fleshed out" pages. but it all takes time... i kind of have to remember how to do all this stuff again, which is annoying, but we will #persevere. til next time :3!
